AdP - Architettura del paesaggio

Design proposals for a design competition by invitation, only. I have been invited to partecipate by "Architettura del Paesaggio" newsroom, an italian magazine about landscape architecture, with monographic issues twice a year.

The first proposal focuses on geometrical and graphic illustrations made of textures and shapes, each one representing the theme of each issue. Titles use a big, old style font, while the header mix vintage style pictograms and contemporary fonts. B/w pictures, gradients, illustrations and lettering appear perfectly harmonious and coordinated.

The second proposal focuses on pictures. I designed a strong header to be matched with the cover picture of each issue. It contains all the information of the magazine: the heading, the title and issue number, the summary… Every issue with a different font, to interprete the theme of the magazine. Everything readable and compact.

Unfortunately this will be just a proposal, so far, since I'm not the winner of the competition ;(
