Hi there!
I'm Doretta, freelance art director and visual designer. Working across Europe, I specialise in all things cultural: communication for music and theatre festivals, art exhibitions, museums.

My personal and ironic take 
on visual communication integrates print, illustration, motion graphics, video and digital media. I am all about bringing a fresh and lively vibe to a cultural project.
I have this knack for finding inspiration in the coolest places
—whether it's art, books, globetrotting adventures, hanging with pals, vintage snapshots, or just chilling with my cat, Fauci, the cutest pet one can ever imagine. 

My projects are featured in over 60 among publications and exhibitions around the world.

I am not just about the visuals: I shared my design approach at universities and conferences, talking about stuff like “Designing with Emotions” or giving students and colleagues a peek into my design process.

I ride a vintage yellow bike (but I can also drive a car, if needed!). I love London (and Paris, New York, Brussels, Bali, Milan...), coffee, colours, shapes, typography, yoga, big glasses, surf, art, music. Sometimes I need to walk barefoot in the ocean.
I hate cooking but I am a "chocolate addict".

My ongoing, personal projects currently focus around concepts like "emotions", "feelings", "imperfection" and "home".
I'm also developing a personal pictures project named "I see faces".

I'm a Professional Member of AIAP, the Italian Association of Visual and Communication Design.
I'm founder and member of Chapeau ! culture consulting, a collective of professionals working for the development of cultural projects and European cooperation projects.
