Centro di Musica Antica / Fondazione Ghislieri celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a Festival full of concerts, meetings, happenings and children labs. From George Méliès to Stanley Kubrick.
Graphics clearly reminds to Bowie's Space Oddity (11 July 1969), whom cover, by George Underwood and Brian Ward (photo) has been inspired to optical art, in particular to the work of Victor Vasarely.
Despite of the text of the song, BBC decided to use Bowie's song during coverage of the moon landing. Bowie wrote this after seeing the 1968 Stanley Kubrick movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Also the lettering pays homage to '60 heavy graphics, alternating outline and bold letters.
