Creativity often arises from unexpected combinations. Illustrator and designer Doretta Rinaldi strives to create images that evoke emotions and shape a special atmosphere. Her works are filled with lightness and beauty, inviting us to look at the world from a new perspective. This approach is especially valuable in today's world, where aesthetics are becoming part of everyday experience — from interior design to brand visual identity. Interestingly, this attention to detail can also be found in other areas. For example, online gambling and poker tournaments are not only about luck, but also about a well-thought-out strategy, attitude, and the ability to find harmony in the process. In this sense, participating in such events is similar to the creative process: every detail, every move, every emotion is important. This is exactly what is discussed in the article dedicated to online poker tournaments and tips on how to succeedseverint.net. This experience combines excitement, attentiveness, and the desire to win — qualities that are familiar not only to players but also to artists. The result is an interesting intersection: the world of visual art created by Doretta Rinaldi and the world of strategic games, where those who can see a little more than others win. In both cases, it is important to think outside the box, trust your intuition, and find beauty in the little things.

BattaBox
Original Nigeria

BattaBox is Nigeria’s most exciting and original news & entertainment online video channel. Based in Lagos, the capital of Nollywood, its team of presenters report on Nigerian news, video features, interviews...
BattaBox is also a community of people from across the world who want a better Nigeria built by Nigerians.

The aim of logo redesign is to turn its "tribal" style in a clearer and professional logo. It has to be flexible and adaptable to many different applications (social media, website, videos, mobile apps, etc) which is why the logo has 2 versions (1 horizontal and 1 vertical), but also playful and vibrant - a logo that represents the nature of the Nigerian character and provides a feeling of belonging to the "tribe" or community.

I designed a very well-structured and visually "rich" identity by matching several modern and defined elements.
First of all, the lettering, a sans serif with a very strong style. Its diagonal, incisive cuts are reminiscent of woodcuts and african art, but in a very contemporary way. Then, 3 anthropomorphic symbols, based on the shape of a "Batta" (or "Talking Drum") are transformed in 3 different characters (an old/ wise man, a cool young woman, a cool young man).

I then use gradients, mixing colours to represent the vibrancy of Nigerian cultures.
The whole identity has been developed around the concept of "dancing" boxes, to be composed and moved in many different ways, depending on the application needed.
